Uniform Mortgage Modification Act of 2025

As introduced, Bill 26-448 would facilitate modifications to mortgages that allow the parties to continue their relationship with their current mortgagor, without resorting to foreclosure. It establishes several types of “safe harbor” modifications that can be made to a commercial or residential mortgage.
